Your team owns collections decisions
Your collections strategy sits in a suite or a spreadsheet, and a promise to pay is a note someone has to check. Decisimo automates those decisions in one place. Your contact tools keep contacting.
Your team edits the treatment for each account
Days past due and a risk band go into a decision table; treatment and channel come out. A recovery scorecard produces the risk band. The team edits both in the portal, and every save creates a revision; learn about recovery scorecards.
A promise to pay that checks itself
A promise to pay is recorded on the account's case. A follow-up step waits until the promise is older than 72 hours and no payment is recorded; the case wakes itself when that window passes. Payments from the core system go onto the open case, so a payment in time keeps the follow-up from running. A broken promise creates a task for Senior collector with a due date 24 hours later; read about promise-to-pay tracking.
Test a new treatment beside the one in use
A fork routes each account with a split value from 0 to 0.1 to the challenger treatment, and the champion catches every other account. An account with no split value stays on the champion. The assistant can add the fork with the champion as the catch-all, and each step is approved; read about champion and challenger.
See why an account got its treatment
Every step keeps a trace of scorecard points and the matching table row, including expected and actual values, plus what was written. An agent opens it on the case, with more on case files, tasks and evidence.
Questions we get asked
What is collections decisioning?
Collections decisioning chooses a treatment and contact channel for each account, then manages follow-up when a promise to pay breaks. Decisimo runs these decisions in a decision table and recovery scorecard, with each account's case carrying the follow-up.
Does this replace the collections suite or dialer?
Your collections suite and dialer keep making contact. Decisimo holds the treatment decisions and promise follow-up.
Where do days past due values come from?
Your lender's system sends days past due with each account. Decisimo uses that value in the decision table; it does not compute delinquency.
How do payments from the core system reach the account?
The core system posts each payment to the case's endpoint with the account's reference. The payment goes onto the open case, which re-evaluates at once.
How is a challenger treatment tested?
A fork uses the lender’s split value. A bounded range goes to the challenger, and everything else, including an account with no split value, goes to the champion. The assistant can add the fork with the champion as the catch-all, and each change is approved.
Is the whole portfolio rescored every night?
The system re-evaluates accounts one by one when data arrives or a case wakes. It does not rescore the whole portfolio every night.
