Rule Set

A set of simple instructions, similar to a recipe, that tells a system how to make decisions or take actions.

Example

For illustration, a lender’s rule set might send an application for review if the stated monthly repayment is more than 30% of verified monthly income. If income information is missing, it might request that information before applying the check.
