Give dealers the decision, deposit and term you will write

At the showroom desk, your policy can answer the dealer with a counter-offer: the deposit and longest term you will write. The vehicle’s age at contract end and value against the advance matter alongside the lessee risk score, and the policy sends its reason with the answer.

Your lease policy answers more than approve or decline

Your leasing policy can decide the application in one request, then keep the case open as evidence arrives or judgement is needed. One decision logic governs both.

The terms for this deal

A yes or no is only part of the answer. Return the deposit and longest term you would write, with the reason attached.

Vehicle and deal eligibility

The vehicle can rule out the deal on its own. Age at contract end and outstanding finance can each rule it out. A write-off record can do the same.

Mid-contract decisions

Keep mid-contract requests open as evidence arrives. Your team decides each case against the same decision logic used for the original application.

Contract-end choices

Decide whether to return, buy out or re-lease the vehicle after the required case work.

The deal tests the vehicle as well as the applicant

  • End age, not today’s age. A three-year-old vehicle on a five-year contract is eight years old at contract end, so the rule can reject it above fourteen.
  • Advance to value. Calculate the advance as vehicle price less deposit, divided by its valuation.
  • Vehicle history. Two checks can refuse the deal: a recorded write-off or outstanding finance.

Evidence for your high-risk credit decisions

Your vehicle lease or hire purchase is a credit decision about a person. The EU AI Act names creditworthiness assessment as Annex III high-risk from 2 December 2027, requiring logging, technical documentation and meaningful human oversight. GDPR Article 22 already gives people the right to human intervention and a meaningful explanation for automated decisions. Decisimo produces the evidence; compliance remains yours.

Questions we get asked

Can your policy return a counter-offer with the deposit and term?

Your decision table can return twenty percent down over forty-eight months as the counter-offer, rather than only a decision. The row carries the reason back to the dealer.

Can vehicle valuation and history data run in the same step as credit data?

A vehicle valuation and history lookup can run alongside a credit bureau lookup in one decision flow. The decision completes when the slower source returns, then applies the vehicle and deal checks alongside the applicant checks.

Can risk analysts change policy in the portal without an engineering release?

You change your policy in the portal and put the new revision through approval. The portal shows the revisions side by side and marks what changed.

How do we show why a customer got those terms months later?

Read a past decision from the execution trace in your infrastructure. Decisimo keeps the decision logic and its revision history, but never stores the execution data.

How do you keep damage claims and early termination open as evidence arrives?

Use real-time decisioning when the data is ready. Use a case file when a decision waits on evidence or a human view. The same decision logic applies as the case changes.

Can we import our trained scoring model?

Put your trained scoring model inside a decision flow, with your cut-offs, policy rules and manual overrides around it.
